It truly was an honor to be part of the in-house team at NBC Sports, designing and animating elements for the broadcast package for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
As the sole Houdini artist on the team, I was tasked with creating a toolkit of particle elements for the team of designers and animators to use throughout the package. I also rigged and animated all of the floral elements.
Floral Locators
One of the main elements I was asked to handle was animating regional French flowers that matched the locations and color schemes of the venues in Paris and the surrounding areas.

It's hard to explain the joy of seeing my work on air against the iconic "Roundball Rock" soundtrack.
It's a wrap.
On top of being part of an amazing team of artists, I got to see work I had a hand in air across multiple networks for almost a month straight. And, to top it all off, we won an Emmy for Outstanding Design for a Live Event. All in all, not a bad way to spend a year.
